Hello! I am Brian Waddick—also known on stage as Dr. W.

I am based right here in Chicago, The city of Big Magic, where I am mastering the art of astonishment. When I’m not bending realities on stage, you can find me enjoying life in the Windy City with my wife of 35 years, our two wonderful sons. I’m also a passionate musician (hand me a guitar, bass, or keys, and I’m happy) and a self-proclaimed BBQ fanatic.

But my true obsession? Creating moments that make people question what is genuinely possible.

As a professional Magician, Mentalist, and Deceptionist, I specialize in crafting unforgettable, interactive experiences across Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. From high-profile corporate events to intimate private gatherings, my performances are designed to engage, mystify, and leave your guests talking long after the final curtain drops.

• Strolling Magic (Walk-Around Close-Up): High-energy, mind-bending magic and psychological mind-reading performed directly in your guests' hands. As I mix and mingle through the crowd, I break the ice and ignite the energy of the room. Perfect for cocktail hours, receptions, and networking events.

• The "Mentalism and More" Parlor/Stage Show: A versatile, heavily interactive performance built perfectly for the stage, parlor, or your living room. This is a seated experience where the entire audience becomes part of the show. Every Parlor/Stage show features a curated selection of my signature routines, designed to pack the room with audience participation, laughter, and audible gasps of astonishment.
